Don't Ignore Hot Tub Dealers
Online!
Virtually everything is being sold over the internet these
days, and home spas are no exception. There are many hot tub
dealers that have their business strictly online, while others
use the internet as a way to expand their business. You don't
want to ignore or quickly dismiss the hot tub dealers that you
see online, and we'll tell you why.
Drop Shippers
Many hot tub dealers that you see online are what you call
drop shippers, meaning that they simply process the orders and
send them to the manufacturer. They do not keep an inventory of
supplies or materials. This means that they can list these
products for much cheaper than retailers who maintain regular
stores, as they have almost no overhead. The manufacturer tells
them what price they need to pay for each item, and then they
mark that up a little bit to sell to you. Many hot tub dealers
are also then able to represent several different manufacturers
this way, so they can offer more options to their
customers.
Distributors
Some online hot tub dealers are distributors, meaning they
are something middlemen for hot tub manufacturers and actual
retailers. They may handle overstock or discontinued models and
make those available for sale online.
Retailers
Hot tub dealers that do have a real "brick and mortar" store
may also have an online site for those that want to shop before
they actually shop, so to speak. This gives potential customers
a way to find out details about certain hot tubs they may be
considering, to have questions answered, and to figure their
budget before they even set foot inside the store. These types
of hot tub dealers may also be able to advertise more makes and
models than would normally be possible in the real store, as
hot tubs do take up quite a bit of space. By advertising them
online, a customer can order something special and arrange to
have it delivered.
If you're considering a new home spa, you can see why it
would pay to investigate the option of looking for hot tub
dealers online. You have a wealth of options to choose from and
can do quite a bit of comparison shopping before you even leave
home. Many retailers even make themselves available for
questions via email, if you're not sure of what you're looking
for or are having trouble making a decision.
